‘John Wick’ actor Keanu Reeves is one of the most universally liked actors in Hollywood and for good reason. It seems like everyone who’s met the guy, both fans and fellow actors alike, only has nice things to say about him. In fact, his kindness has even become part of his public persona.
Proving that his reputation is true, the 54-year-old actor recently surprised one of his fans with a sweet gesture.
Answering a Fan
According to director and writer Ed Solomon, Reeves was on the way to the set of his latest film ‘Bill and Ted Face the Music’ when he saw a sign that was out on a residential house’s lawn. The sign has the two words ‘You’re Breathtaking’ written on it, a quote Reeves famously said during an E3 video game conference.
Being the good guy that he is, the actor got off the car he was riding and gave the sign a ‘makeover’. Taking a pen, he wrote a message back to the sign’s owner writing, ‘Stacey, you’re breathtaking’ and proceeded to autograph it.
But he didn’t stop there. As Stacey Hunt, the woman who put up the sign, revealed on Twitter, the actor actually took the time to meet her and her son, who suggested they make the post. She then shared some photos Reeves took with them during his visit.
On the Set
The actor happened to be in the Louisiana area as he’s busy shooting the third movie in the Bill and Ted movie franchise. Reeves returns alongside fellow actor Alex Winter to play the titular characters William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. and Theodore ‘Ted ‘Logan.
In the latest film, the slackers are shown in their middle age and now with their wife and kids. Like the previous Bill and Ted movies, the two best friends set out for a time-traveling adventure when a visitor from the future informs them that their song will be the one to bring harmony to the universe.
The film is scheduled to be released on Aug. 21, 2020. Aside from Reeves and Winter, writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon will also return to work on the film. Dean Parisot will direct the movie.
Further proof of Reeves kind nature and gentleman ways are the recently trending pictures of him posing with fans and fellow celebs. As some netizens have pointed out, the actor tends to hover his hands behind the backs of the women he’s posing with when he leans in for the picture perhaps to not intrude on their personal space.
Dubbed as ‘Hover Hand’, the pictures have now become a sort of meme on the Internet with new ones seeming to come out every now and again.
