Peppa Pig is every kid’s favorite and not without good reason! It is no wonder it is getting a park with its themes, complete with its ‘muddy puddles’ in central Florida. This uber-popular British children’s cartoon character is joining hands with Legoland Florida Resort for a huge Peppa Pig Theme Park. This park will be open for its patrons by 2022.

It promises everything that a child will look for, complete with rides, live spectacles, interactive attractions, and large water play spaces. Also, the biggest Peppa pig fans will meet Peppa Pig, and it is going to be a riot! The theme park will cover 4.5 acres and a stone’s throw away from Legoland, currently a parking lot. The kids will have the time of their lives, playing around in muddy puddles ala their favorite character, Peppa.

The 10th Birthday Celebration

The big theme park comes in the wake of the Legoland Florida Resort, which celebrates its 10th birthday. Legoland promises all this and more, fun activities that can keep you entertained and pack in the extra fun.
The celebration is all set to begin soon with a bang with the Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show.

This amazing show goes on for a whole 25-minutes. And it would include wakeboarding, ski pyramids, complete with the keyboard act. Guests get to watch this spectacle from an expansive open area, and families sit in close-knit groups maintaining all the social distancing norms.

A 4-D Movie-Going Experience

Are you fascinated with all the characters of the Lego world? Well, an all-new building center will help you know all about the guests who will show how the Master Model Builders develop and create these characters.

Lego Friends, a line primarily designed to keeping girls in mind, is riding high in popularity charts and best reserved for weekends. This is just the thing you need to share with your friends when the summer holidays knock on doors. This summer, you will meet all your larger-than-life Lego models. You will have to visit the park to know all about it.

An Irresistible Deal

Legoland Florida is also offering a limited-time deal keeping the birthday theme in mind. Florida residents will get to visit the theme park for 12 months for just $99. And the pass offers more than just access to the theme park. You could avail it at the parking, admission into the annual events, and discounts on tickets. Watch out for the blackout dates.

Expansive and Boasting of Huge Attractions

The park grounds were earlier called the Cypress Gardens Theme Park. Since its debut in 2012, Legoland is now a true-blue water park with three hotels. It covers 150 acres, and it boasts 50 rides, shows, and other varied attractions. This is a park primarily designed for children. It is also meant for families and places to create memories and later reminiscence of the good times spent here.

The theme park based on the preschool animated series will be near the Legoland theme park but have a  separate ticket. The annual passes will be available either as standalone memberships or multi-park passes. You will also be able to visit the nearby Legoland theme park and water park.

More Details on Rides Coming up Soon

You may soon get to hear all about the details about the rides and attractions. We are hoping the news would be out by this summer. Merlin Entertainments, the company that owns Legoland, had filed for state and local officials’ plans last year. And we hear that they have added close to about 4.5 acres (1.8 hectares) to its central Florida resort.

A new area plan included six rides or attractions, and a large building that we are guessing is a restaurant. The Peppa Pig theme park will be in a licensing agreement with Hasbro, which is supposed to own the character.

Legoland Florida has been recurrently expanding its parks since its inception in October 2011 on the earlier site of Cypress Gardens. The park opened its first hotel in 2015, adding the off-site Legoland Beach Retreat in 2017. Also recently opened its doors to visitors at the Pirate Island Hotel.

We bet the Peppa Pig kiddie fans will be delighted to visit their all-time favorite toon character up close and personal. We are guessing the parents will be happy, too, as they get to take their kids to a fun place. Let’s say when the kids are happy, the parents are happy.
