With divorces being a dime a dozen in Hollywood, it’s refreshing to see a celebrity couple’s relationship succeed.

Proving that they are indeed the ultimate power couple, former Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham and soccer superstar David Beckham celebrated their 20th year together in the most adorable way.

Over the Years

Both Victoria and David posted a throwback to their 1999 wedding on each of their Instagram accounts.

The couple chose to reminisce about their two decades together in a ‘slideshow’ of photos on Instagram which showed the highlights of their relationship. One of the most notable ones in the bunch is their wedding portrait featuring fresh-faced Victoria and David in their 20s.

The power couple famously married in a 15th-century castle in Ireland with a ceremony and celebration which ultimately cost them a reported $823,650. And who could forget their then four-month-old son, Brooklyn, who served as their ring bearer?

Aside from their wedding photos, the two also included photos of some of the most iconic fashion moments from their matching black leather outfits to their more current and polished looks. David even tagged his entire family on his post expressing his amazement about what they’ve created in the last 20 years and his love for his wife.

So, how were the fashion maven and former athlete able to sustain such a long marriage despite their celebrity status? Well, not without many challenges it seems as Victoria opened up about their relationship struggles to British Vogue in an interview last year.

Strong Family

Elaborating further, the 45-year-old fashion designer says that they’ve learned to ignore the things people make up about them. However, she also says that these still affect the other people around them unfairly.

In the end, though, the mother of four believes that they are stronger together as a family than they would be as individuals. Thus, they respect this special bond that they have. No wonder, David and the kids can often be seen sitting at the front row of Victoria’s fashion shows to show their support for the family matriarch.

In their two decades as a married couple, Victoria and David have been blessed with three more kids following the birth of their eldest, Brooklyn, who’s now a 20-year-old budding photographer.

Following him is the 16-year-old Romeo, who’s making waves on Instagram after starting modeling at just age 10. The couple’s third child is 14-year-old Cruz, who seems to be following his mother’s footsteps as a musician. Youngest of the brood is seven-year-old Harper, who’s honing her skills at The London Stage School.

Conjugal Success

The couple is reportedly one of the most financially successful ones in the industry

Aside from raising a family, the couple also found success in their various ventures after their initial careers as a singer and as an athlete. Together, Victoria and David are reportedly worth $900 million.
