Seeing photos of the seven-year-old Ala’a Baytops, the singer couldn’t believe her eyes. She even reposted a photo of the girl on her own Instagram and said that she almost dropped her phone. What more, Riri further expressed her amazement with a simple question: ‘how?’.

And she wasn’t the only one in shock. With her post garnering over 7 million likes on the social media platform, hundreds, if not thousands, of people from all over the world have been commenting under the photo that the two of them could pass as twins. Even the singer’s celebrity friends were pretty shaken by how much they look alike. Rapper Snoop Dogg even jokingly asked Riri when she had a baby. Meanwhile, Indian-born actress Priyanka Chopra simply commented: ‘Wow?!’.

According to Inside Edition, Rihanna’s mini doppelganger, Ala’a, hails from Roanoke, Virginia. The young girl currently lives there with her mother Bria Baytops, who the singer actually tagged in her reaction post.

Saying how she didn’t notice the resemblance at first, Baytops soon realized it anyway when people began pointing it out and even began calling Ala’a ‘little Rihanna’. But what’s even more interesting is that the girl actually had no idea who Rihanna was until her mom showed her.

Talking about the viral image of her daughter, Baytops said that she decided to share it after seeing a photo of the young singer. She then tagged Rihanna hoping to get her attention. And she eventually did. In fact, another famous celeb noticed Ala’a, too. Former model Tyra Banks reportedly shared the photo of the young Rihanna lookalike.

This may spell further good news for the mother and daughter as Ala’a actually as aspirations of becoming a model herself. With a face like Rihanna’s and Banks’ attention, her dreams might just turn into reality someday.
