Christina Aguilera Releases 7th Top 10 Album, ‘Liberation’

Christina Aguilera is back to the top 10 of Billboard chart again after a long break. The new album of Christina Aguilera “Liberation” is now ranked sixth in Billboard ranking. It is her seventh album to make it to the list of top 10 since 2012.

Nielsen Music reported that almost 68,000 albums were earned in the week and “Liberation” was released on June 15. Among those 68,000 albums, 62,000 belonged to the sale category. Music albums in the US are ranked by the Billboard 200 chart in every week and they rank the albums on multi-metric consumptions.

The factors that are taken into account by Billboard include the total sale of the album, streaming equivalent albums and track-equivalent albums. The chart including June 30 albums will be published on June 26 on the official website of Billboard and in that list “Liberation” was ranked 6th.

The 8th album of Aguilers “Liberation” was released with the partnership of RCA Records. According to the reports, the singer started working on the album since 2014 and then worked on it throughout 2015 and 2017. In this time period, Aguilera collaborated with many handy singers and producers and finally reached to her desired music. Linda Perry and Pharrell Williams shared the studio with Aguilera in the initial recordings but left after a while.

During the album preparation, Aguilera worked with many producers and singers like Pharrell Williams, Linda Perry, Tayla Parx, Kanye West and Da Internz.
